Just one question with regard to this funding for additional filing spaces in the Ministers' offices of the Legislative Assembly. I know it's not very much, but in the initial planning of the building, didn't we accommodate the filing space required by Ministers, or are they just that much more efficient and effective in producing more paper that they need more filing space?

Mr. Chairman, there was a lack of filing cabinets and filing spaces in Ministers' offices. Some Ministers were prepared to bring in filing cabinets which would not have fit in the offices, so it was decided to build them into the spaces that were in the offices. So there was a lack of filing cabinets in the Ministers' offices, Mr. Chairman.

Mahsi. Just a thought. Some of us MLAs have small budgets for constituency assistants and hire them in the communities, but can't hire them here. We had extra office spaces and I could have leased my office space to one of the Ministers for filing cabinets. Just a thought.
