Thank you, Madam Speaker, and Members. Madam Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Nunakput, that Bill 17, Loan Authorization Act, 1994-95, be read for the second time. Madam Speaker, this bill authorizes the Commissioner, or a Minister acting on behalf of the Commissioner, to make loans during the 1994-95 fiscal year to municipalities and boards of education.
