Thank you, Mr. Chair. I move that this committee recommends that the Government of the Northwest Territories develop an implementation plan for the Mineral Resources Act that identifies short and longer-term objectives, such as the development of regulations, and which identifies how key stakeholders will be engaged; and further, that the Government of the Northwest Territories return to the appropriate standing committee in the 19th Legislative Assembly with a copy of the draft implementation plan for committee.
