    April 6, 1994 Passed Thank you, Madam Speaker. I thank my colleagues for consent. Madam Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Nunakput, that Bill 7, An Act to Amend the Arctic College Act, be read for the second time. Madam Speaker, this bill amends the Arctic College Act to remove references to Arctic College and to allow the creation of more than one college. The amendment also repeals the Science Institute of the Northwest Territories Act and gives the board of a college the power to establish a science advisory council and the power to delegate the functions previously held by the Science Institute of the Northwest Territories. The bill also removes references to the vice-president and to specific student associations. Thank you, Madam Speaker.
