Members, I would like to make a few opening comments before we move on. Let me say what an honour it is to have been selected as your Speaker. I would like to thank Mr. Krutko for his excellent work, not only as a Speaker for the first six months of this assembly, but also as Chair of the Board of Management, Deputy Speaker and Chair of Committee of the Whole of this and previous assemblies. I will have more to say to the House once the formal appointment has been made in the House later today.
