John Ningark's return to Question W2-12(1), asked by Mrs. Marie-Jewell on December 11, 1991: I have provided Mrs. Marie-Jewell with a breakdown of how much funding was provided in 1991-92 to each community through several grant and contribution programs administered by the Department of Renewable Resources. The programs included the local wildlife committee, (administration), community harvester assistance program, outpost camp and organized community hunts.

I have also provided the Member with a copy of the Renewable Resources Grant and Contribution Policy. It contains more detail on the types of grants an organization may apply for and the funding formula for each grant.

The total amount of funding received by an organization depends on the number of programs it applies for and the departmental budget for a program.
