To avoid hearing "no, we cannot keep the road open" on the last day of the session, I would like to ask the Minister if he would make a commitment to contact his counterpart at the federal level prior to the beginning of December and advise this House as to their decision whether or not they will assist the Department of Transportation in keeping this winter road open?
