Mr. Chairman, I am going to present some of our recommendations in motion form. I think one of the things we noted in the report was that workers in the Departments of Health and Social Services, in the field and in the communities are really quite concerned about what is going to happen when the two departments are combined. It is very important that the government, in order to ensure that morale is maintained at the best possible level and that people are spending their time being concerned about delivering health and social services products to clients rather than worrying about their jobs or their future, consult with and inform these front line workers as to what progress is taking place in terms of the joining of these two departments.
