Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Natilikmiot, that Bill 12, An Act to Amend the Tobacco Tax Act, be read for the second time. Mr. Speaker, this bill would amend the Tobacco Tax Act to deem a certain amendment to the tobacco tax regulations to have come into force before the amendment came into force under the Tobacco Tax Act and the Statutory Instruments Act.
