Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, the recent court ruling did concern federal prisoners in federal penitentiaries, and I am having an analysis done by my department which will advise me as to whether or not that ruling should apply to territorial prisoners in territorial correctional facilities. Mr. Speaker, as soon as I get that analysis, which I have asked for immediately following the decision, I will inform Members of the House of the possible implications for prisoners in territorial facilities in the Northwest Territories.
