Mr. Lewis asked today about the status of a bill to amend the Northwest Territories Act to confirm the amendment to the Official Languages Act of the NWT which will extend the time for making all statutory instruments in English and in French to September 30, 1992. The bill has received third reading in the House of Commons, and I understand it was scheduled to be introduced to the Senate today. Thank you.
