In its agenda for action document, the department identified the community of Fort Simpson as having a significant potential to expand its role as the regional supply centre and to expand its local range of goods and services. A main element of the economic strategy was the plan to target communities to concentrate on the need and potential for development and to adapt programs to communities. Is the focus on targeting communities and building on communities and regional strength still a priority of the department? Thank you.
