Earlier this week, when I was at home in Coral Harbour, I was told that the Minister of Education made a statement to the divisional board of education in the Keewatin that the language cuts from the federal government to our government were the fault of the Languages Commissioner and that the Minister's statement was aired on CBC Kivallivik. In the meantime, I'm trying to get the transcript from the CBC. Up to this time, I have not yet been successful. I am confident that I will be getting those transcripts later on. However, I want to know from the Minister if this rumour I hear from my own community is true.
