Mr. Chairman, funding is required on an annual basis for the preparation of granular and borrow material inventories and preparation of management development restoration plans, and the construction of minor access roads and minor drainage improvements to quarries. Projects may be undertaken directly by MACA or by way of funding contribution to tax-based communities as outlined in the municipal capital assistance policy. The studies allow for the transfer of these quarry sites to the control of each community.
