Thank you, Madam Speaker, and Members. Madam Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable for Nunakput, that Bill 15, An Act to Amend the Income Tax Act, be read for the second time. Madam Speaker, this bill amends the Income Tax Act to increase the corporate income tax rate effective January 1, 1994, and provides for the rates to be prorated for corporations whose fiscal years span both calendar years of 1993 and 1994.
