Mr. Speaker, I certainly wouldn't want to prejudge the important advice of the Standing Committee on Legislation, nor would the Minister, I know, but I would like to ask the Minister if the standing committee should advise that it is a priority to update the long-awaited modernization of the Education Act, would the Minister and his officials be prepared to take the necessary action to move this legislation forward to this House during the life of this government?
