Mr. Chairman, there is, I think, recognition by most Members in this Legislature that if there are some further ways we can organize to make better services and support to children, to women and other disadvantaged members of the public, then those suggestions should be supported and given proper merit. At this time it is difficult to do so. We're literally at the end of our term as a government. There will be a new Legislature in the fall. We have suggestions on ways in which we could deal with this perceived need for the creation of an ombudsman or ombudsman-like office, and we have said that we would look at reviewing and evaluating how the Access to Information and Protection of Privacy Act is implemented and see if there is some way that we could use that in order to provide this additional service of an ombudsperson.
I have no difficulty with what the Member is saying but I have very little to add beyond what I've just said. Thank you.
