Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, as many of us know, right now social workers with the Department of Health and Social Services, undertake community supervision and the probation supervision of individuals in our communities. What we have been able to do Mr. Speaker is that the Department of Justice has been able to secure funds for next year of approximately one and a half million dollars to be directed directly into community supervision so that we can free up social workers to do the child care focus that they should be focusing on over the course of their duties, Mr. Speaker, and to allow communities and other organizations to get into that supervision area.
