Thank you, Mr. Speaker. My question today is to the Minister of Finance, Mr. Todd, on the implications of acquiring a diamond valuation sorting facility for the north. Mr. Speaker, on Wednesday, we heard several Members including myself on the issue of diamond valuation and sorting facility for the north. My colleagues, Mrs. Groenewegen from Hay River, and Mr. Ootes and myself from Yellowknife, all spoke on this issue. It may have appeared that this call for a facility in the north is a local or regional interest. My question to the Minister is, is this a local issue or does it have territorial implications?
