Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I believe that jury summonses are chosen at random from the community. Individuals are summoned to court to hear whether or not they would be eligible to sit on a jury. If there are conflicts because of being related, either to the victim or the accused, then those types of issues are brought forward at the initial discussions with jurors to excuse those that may be in those conflict of interest situations.
