I would like to offer my personal appreciation to my executive administrative assistant, Brian Armstrong, who will be moving from my office to work at elections NWT. His assistance I have appreciated over the last year. Our appreciation also goes to the senior officials of the government and their staff who worked to provide response to the numerous questions and issues that Members raise, also to the fifth estate, the people of the radio, television and print media as they strive to portray in such a good light.

Seriously, the media do play an important role as they professionally and accurately report the proceedings of the Assembly. I am sure all our families are excited that we will be finally coming home to stay for more than a couple of days.
