Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I want to take a minute today to congratulate two young northerners who have distinguished themselves in recent weeks. As you may have already noticed in today's issue of the News/North newspaper, we will be represented at the Miss Canada International competition next August by two people, Andrea Hansen of Inuvik and Karen McCaul of Yellowknife.

I am sure both of these young women will enjoy the pageant and will be excellent representatives for the Northwest Territories. As a side note, I would like to thank the Inuvialuit Regional Corporation for sponsoring Miss Hansen's attendance at the competition. I would also like to thank BHP Diamonds Inc., Creative Paper and Office Supplies, NWT Air and Force One, all of whom made donations to help Ms. McCaul who is still working on her fundraising.
