Thank you, Mr. Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Aivilik, that Bill 27, An Act to Amend the Wildlife Act, be read for the second time. Mr. Speaker, this bill amends the Wildlife Act to recognize and give effect to the wildlife harvesting and management provisions of the Gwich'in Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement and the Sahtu Dene and Metis Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement.
