Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I cannot say that the federal government will treat the West any differently than Nunavut when it comes to dealing with land claims. What I did suggest is that the difference in the approach right now is because the claims have all been settled in Nunavut whereas they have not all been settled in the west. Self-government is being settled through the implementation of the act in Nunavut, whereas, self-government negotiations have not been completed for any of the aboriginal governments in the west.
