Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, my question at this time will be directed to the Minister of FMBS. In response to a written question, the Minister replied to the pay scale and the information that is out there for the UNW employees. He mentioned the 2 percent increase that would be happening once accepted on this upcoming year, and 1998-99 and the following year of a two-year agreement. He did state early on in his response that the 2 percent was not part of the March 31, 1998 base salary. Could the Minister clear that up? Is it, in fact, 2 percent increase on the base salary or is this a transitional 2 percent which would not be taken into a new collective agreement when a new bargaining process happens? Thank you.
