Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, the Member is right, we were not even allowed to call witnesses to explain the importance of holding hearings throughout the North so that people in the North could be educated and aware of what the issues are. This, I think, Mr. Speaker, is unheard of. In my history in the North, from the time of the Berger Commission, almost every time there has been an issue of importance to Northerners, the hearings have been held in the North and this government is extremely disappointed that these will not be held here.
