Thank you, Mr. Speaker. I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Nahendeh, that Bill 19, An Act to Amend the Labour Standards Act be read for the second time.

Mr. Speaker, this bill amends the Labour Standards Act to provide a method for calculating the regular wages for employees whose wages are computed and paid on a basis other than time or on a combined basis of time and some other basis, for the purposes of determining the minimum pay for overtime and general holidays.
