Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Inuvik Twin Lakes, that Bill 1, An Act to Amend the Education Act, be read for the second time. Mr. Speaker, this act amends the Education Act to set out rules with respect to the student/teacher ratio and student support services that must be adhered to when operation and maintenance funds are provided to the education bodies under section 128 of the Act.
