Thank you, Mr. Speaker. Mr. Speaker, my question is directed to the Minister responsible for the Department of Health and Social Services, and it relates to the proposal for emergency and transitional housing, and for hard-to-house people I spoke of in my Member's statement today.

Mr. Speaker, in the past few years, the Department of Education, Culture and Employment and the Housing Corporation have contributed significantly to finding solutions for emergency and transitional housing in the Northwest Territories, particularly in Yellowknife.

The Department of Health and Social Services has sometimes not come to the table with all of the resources that might be brought to bear. I would like to ask the Minister responsible for the Department of Health and Social Services if she will commit to, in this instance, ensuring that she meets with the Minister of Education, Culture and Employment and the Minister for the Housing Corporation, along with the representatives of the four Yellowknife agencies that are proposing this solution and ensure that she brings some resources to the table.
