I MOVE that Bill 13 be amended by adding the following after clause 5:
5.1The following provision be amended by striking out "subsection 3(5)" and by substituting "section 2.1":
(a) paragraph 6.1(6)(b);
(b) subparagraphs 26(2)(a)(ii) and (iii) and that portion of subsection 26(2) following paragraph (b);
(c) paragraphs 56(17)(a) and (b).

I MOVE that Bill 13 be amended by adding the following after clause 6:
6.1Paragraphs 9(1)(a) and (b) are repealed and the following is substituted:
(a) the highest percentage, as defined in section 2.1 of this act,
is of
(b) the percentage referred to in paragraph (a) of the description of "a" in the definition "refundable capital gains tax on hand" in subsection 132(4) of the federal act for the year.

Mr. Chairman, just for clarification, I believe when we approved clause 5, the wording was clause 5 as amended rather than 5.1. I do not know if that is a problem, but my legal counsel tells me we should see if it is. Thank you.
