Thank you, Mr. Speaker. My question today is for the Minister of Transportation. I was interested to hear his statement today when he said that in pulling these bills that are before us, the delay here will mean that much-needed improvements and interim steps may have to be taken to protect our investment of over a billion dollars in the NWT highway system. Would he not also indicate that steps may need to be taken to protect the safety of our residents? Thank you.
