Thank you, Mr. Speaker. On July 7, 2000, the Minister said in a statement to this House that the maintenance and accident records of the Hay River Reserve access road speak for themselves. Mr. Speaker, I would like to point out to the Minister that effective communication is not only about speaking, but listening. I have to say it just depends on who is doing the listening. I hope the Minister will be listening later today when I have questions on this very serious situation. I can assure the Minister my constituents will be listening to his answers.
