I want to address something else that is on page 9-10:
"The branch will also participate in the interdepartmental review of seniors programs with the intent of improving services, streamline administration and bringing about greater program transparency and fairness and accountability."
I asked in the House some questions on the seniors' fuel subsidy programs. Those subsidy programs are based on the 1997 economy. The 2001 economy is a lot different from 1997. The Minister had indicated that he will consider reviewing the bar that was used to determine if a senior qualifies for the subsidies. When is the Minister planning on doing this? How is he planning on doing this? Thank you Mr. Chairman.
