Mr. Speaker, given, as the Minister has referred to, the fact that other jurisdictions in Canada and indeed the Supreme Court of Canada has ruled that the definition of spouse must guarantee under the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, freedom from discrimination against sex, is the Minister saying that this government still has to consider whether it will consider this amendment?
