Thank you, Mr. Speaker. In response to Mr. Nitah's questions, Mr. Handley indicated that the board of directors needs to be arm's length, or at least indicated free from political interference. Three times in the last two years I believe, Mr. Speaker, this government parachuted in and told the Power Corporation to cease and desist.

Mr. Speaker, I think they would imagine that we have a trigger-happy Cabinet and I do not see members putting their names forward. In light of the three times of us having to step in, does the Minister believe we actually had an arms' length and free-from-interference relationship with this board?
