One of the problems we have in our communities is sometimes we don't have a probation officer and just to get access to counsel in most communities, you either have to wait for the court party or to ensure you can get legal advice and also knowing what your rights are is something most of us take for granted. We would request that we have access to a lawyer knowing you have certain rights. In most communities, people don't really understand what rights they do have. Most young offenders find themselves in front of a judge or needing legal advice...
