Madam Chair, I move that this committee recommends that the Minister of Education, Culture and Employment issue a ministerial directive regarding the minimum number of instructional hours for aboriginal language to strengthen Section 73.3 of the Education Act; and
Further that the minimum number of hours of instruction subsequently be addressed through regulations, to be consistent with other subject areas.
