Mahsi cho, Madam Chair. Madam Chair, I move that this committee recommends that an aboriginal languages board be legislated through the Official Languages Act to advise the Minister responsible for the official languages regarding planning, promotion, coordination and resource allocation; and

Further that the terms of reference for this board, along with its structure, appointment process, consultation functions and other necessary matters, be established through regulation. Mahsi cho, Madam Chair.
