Thank you, Mr. Speaker. As I indicated to the Member the first time she was asking questions, the department does not provide funds directly to any centre. The department provides all funds for schooling to DECs. That money has to then flow from the DEC to the DEA for use in the community. So the money is already going out to the DECs to provide services to children with special needs. The DEA would have to access the funds from the DEC and then spend them as they see appropriate.
