Thank you, Mr. Chair. Just in terms of the training, I'll start there first. Two things; one, in most health centres there is a clerk interpreter that's there that does have the skills and is trained in medical terminology. We are working on a plan for enhanced training. So the training and that right now is mainly provided to the clerk interpreters, but also to be provided to the CHRs for their own training.
In terms of backup when a CHR is away, there are arrangements for providing the coverage through casual pay. There is a bit of a difficulty there in that not every community has a person that has that kind of training in the individual communities to provide that service. So there are some practical difficulties with getting a person to provide backup for a CHR. Thank you.
