Mr. Speaker, I give notice that on Thursday, March 15, 2007, I will move the following motion: I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Frame Lake, that not withstanding Rule 4, when the House adjourns on March 15, 2007, it shall be adjourned until Wednesday, May 9, 2007; and further, that any time prior to May 9, 2007, if the Speaker is satisfied, after consultation with the Executive Council and the Members of the Legislative Assembly, that the public interest requires that the House should meet at an earlier time during the adjournment, the Speaker may give notice and thereupon the House shall meet at a time stated in such notice and shall transact its business as it has been duly adjourned at that time.
