Speaker, I’d like to present a petition dealing with the matter of a comprehensive review of the Child and Family Services Act. Mr. Speaker, the petition contains 77 signatures of the Mackenzie Delta constituents and, Mr. Speaker, the petition requests that the Legislative Assembly conduct a comprehensive review of the Child and Family Services Act in order to recommend changes to the act and its administration that will be more effective in supporting NWT families and more response to northern communities.
