As I mentioned in my statement, when a patient indicates they want to enter treatment, they often must be medically detoxed prior to being sent South for treatment or going on the land. Can the Minister explain the process for receiving medical detox in the Northwest Territories and what she is doing to address the barriers to accessing it? Thank you.
