Thank you, Madam Speaker. I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Kivallivik, that Bill 2, Aboriginal Custom Adoption Recognition Act, be read for the second time.
Madam Speaker, this bill sets out the simple procedure to obtain recognition of the aboriginal custom adoption that will have the affect of a court order.
