Mr. Speaker, I move, seconded by the honourable Member for Yellowknife South, that Bill 19, Cost of Credit Disclosure Act, be read for the second time. Mr. Speaker, this bill establishes rules for the disclosure of cost of credit information by credit grantors to consumers. It also repeals Parts I and II of the Consumer Protection Act and makes other consequential amendments to that act. Thank you, Mr. Speaker.
