Mahsi, Mr. Speaker. I have a question for the Minister who is responsible for the Language Commissioner. The concern I have is about the standardization of the Dene language in my part of the world. It was brought to my attention that there are a number of different courses offered to Dene people in our languages. There is no coordinated effort, at this point, to have one standard form. There seem to be different courses: the justice course at Arctic College and the interpreters' course, and there seems to be a different way of approaching it. There are also some researchers who are also creating their own courses. The concern is that the Language Commissioner has not been to the Dene area in the southwestern Nahendeh and Deh Cho area since she got in there, so I was wondering if she could be asked to go into this area and deal with it? Thank you.
