Well, I spent eight years on the Workers' Compensation Board and I still have some difficulties understanding what they are doing. When the worker is receiving disability pensions identifying potentially new careers, what gives the staff of the Workers' Compensation Board the right to determine whether these goals and aspirations of injured workers are acceptable? Who determines what career patterns they want to take, the worker or the staff?
