Thank you, Mr. Chairman. I understand the Member's concern. It would take about a year for the Canadian National Transportation Safety Board to come back with a report, and like I said, the department itself does not have resources to be responsible for cleaning up all the spills. At this moment, Environment Canada requires that polluters pay, and they are required to have contingency plans in place, for instance, those transportation companies that transport dangerous chemicals.
