Mr. Speaker, we have been advised that it would be retroactive. The federal government has indicated to us that it would be retroactive. Mr. Speaker, with regard to the NWT Federation of Labour, they have registered. Whether or not they will remit to us, we won't know. Because of it's size, the first time they would have to remit would be in January of next year. As I said, the Dene Nation has indicated that they would not be complying with the tax.
