I was disappointed to hear that the Department of Social Services has made no moves on developing a day care policy, but since responsibility for day care is moving to Education, Culture and Employment Programs in less than a month, my question is for the Minister of Education, Culture and Employment Programs. I was wondering if he could tell the House what plans have been made by his department to incorporate day care into the departmental framework and to continue to move towards initiating the development of a day care policy?
